Men's Basketball Moves To 10-2 With Win At Plattsburgh

Middlebury moved to 10-2 on the season with a 68-64 victory at Plattsburgh. The Panthers fell behind several times in the game, but continued to battle back. Middlebury overcame poor shooting from downtown, going just 5 of 32 from behind the arc, while hitting just 9 of 20 free throws. The Panthers combined for 22 assists and eight blocked shots on the night, as they trailed 33-27 at the half.

Women's Basketball With Road Win At Plattsburgh

Middlebury led 32-24 at the half and held on for a 63-56 win at Plattsburgh on Tuesday night. The Panther shot 44 percent from the floor, held a 39-30 edge on the boards and overcame 24 turnovers in the win.

More Post-Season Football Honors - Kelly Earns All-American Honors

Three members of the Middlebury College football team have garnered post-season accolades. Senior Brendan Kelly (Niskayuna, N.Y.) was named a third-team All-American by D3 Football.com, while seniors Andrew Matson (Coventry, R.I.) and Charles Holm (Longmeadow, Mass.) earned All-ECAC honors. The threesome helped lead the Panthers to a 5-3 season, with sole possession of third place in the final NESCAC standings.

Panthers Win Third Place Game

Middlebury cruised to a 6-1 win over St. Anselm in the consolation game of the Middlebury College Holiday Classic Tournament. The Panthers improve to 7-1 on the year and return to league play this weekend when they host Castleton and Skidmore.

Women's Hockey Downs Elmira In OT

Middlebury scored a shorthanded goal just 1:08 into overtime as the Panthers came from behind to beat Elmira, 5-4. Annmarie Cellino and Anna McNally worked a great give-and-go, with McNally netting her first goal of the year in her first game. The win is the second for fourth-ranked Middlebury over third-ranked Elmira this season.
